The Business Owner’s Crash Course to Cyclical Alignment

May 4, 2023

FINALLY, all this juicy goodness that’s been living in my brain is out in the world!! This course has existed in my head for over a year now because I KNOW it’s something the world of female business ownership needs, and I finally found the time to put it all together into a self-paced super-course for YOU.

cyclical alignment for business owners

I learned about cyclical alignment from a past coach several years ago and I’ve always worked with business coaches, but those worlds always seemed to live very separately – until I had an “aha” moment when I realized how truly intertwined those two worlds are!

Understanding how you deal with work and life situations based on what your hormones are doing is CRITICAL to building the life, business, and relationships you want; they’re all intertwined whether we like it or not!

I believe that as a business owner, you have a responsibility to show up as your best self and you can’t do that if you’re not honoring your energy. That’s why I created this course, to allow you to step into your best self both in business and in life.

This incredible, self-paced course covers:

  • Cycle alignment basics
  • Exercises to dream BIG
  • Planning & applying dreams to your business
  • How your financials & promotions support your dreams
  • Creating a task/to-do list based on your cycle phases
  • 25+ page interactive workbook to piece your own plan together
  • BONUS: my monthly checklist & CEO day plan

Tune in to learn more & hear how I apply these concepts to my own everyday life – I promise, it’s a game-changer!

Tune in now!

Ep. 7 is out now: Creating the Vision & Mission 🧭

In the hallway between Erica’s bedroom and her daughters’ rooms hangs Theodore Roosevelt’s “Man in the Arena” quote, rewritten for women. The credit belongs to the woman in the arena, the one who dares greatly. It’s become the quote her whole life runs on, and it’s what pushed her to take a hard look at The Mina Company’s vision, mission, and purpose for the first time in years.

In this episode, Erica breaks down the difference between the three, shares the new versions she wrote for Mina (including the line with a little bite: “even when it costs us”), and explains how she turned them into real, day-to-day decisions her team makes. She also shares a simple place to start your own: notice what you’re jealous of when you see it out in the wild.

Most agencies are built to grow the invoice. More services, more add-ons, more reasons to keep you spending. It's just how the model usually works.

We wrote our purpose around the opposite instinct: to always act in our clients' best interest, even when it costs us. That line only means something if we live it in the moments where doing right by you and making more money pull in different directions.

So that's the standard we hold every decision to. When those two things conflict, you win. Not because it's the easy call, but because it's the one we'd want made if it were our own business on the line.

It's a slower way to grow. It's also the only way to build an agency people actually trust.

We’re adding a Marketing Account Manager to the Mina team!

Our Account Managers are the bridge between our clients and our team. They know each client’s goals, keep the work on track, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

We’re looking for someone with agency experience who enjoys juggling multiple clients and building long-term relationships. You don’t need to be an expert in everything. We value curiosity and a willingness to keep learning just as much.

The role is flexible and remote-friendly, and it’s a great fit for someone who wants meaningful work that leaves room for the rest of life.

Know someone who’d be a great fit? Tag them below or share this post. 💙

We believe a business should be measured by more than what it earns. So every year, we put our money where our mission is.

Behind every client campaign we run, we're also running strategy, content, and creative for organizations doing real good in our community, completely in-kind. This year that adds up to more than $18,000 in donated marketing work for local nonprofits.

We don't do it for recognition. We do it because the causes we believe in deserve the same caliber of work we'd give any paying client, and because a healthier community is good for all of us.

Ep. 6 is out now: The Season of Letting Go 🌊

When Erica’s fifth grader came home upset about a history test, the old Erica would have spiraled. Did we study enough? What does this say about me as a mom? This time, she let it go. They made a simple plan for next time and went to bed.

This episode is about that kind of letting go, with the little things and the big ones. Erica gets into how AI is shaking the ground under her business (and why she’s loving it), what it takes to step back and let your team lead even when it’s not done exactly your way, and how she makes decisions from a place of calm when everything is moving at once.
